Then i'm afraid i don't agree with SMcG. Rene Gilmartin is shaky. He was at fault for the 3rd goal for certain and twice dropped the ball which nearly cost us even more.
however, though it obviously isn't Lambert's arm, it's obvious that Lambert is fouling a Watford player...bizarre decision in anyone's book!
Such a shame chappers effort hit the post, that build up play was superb. I was worried in the first 15 minutes but after our first goal we were a completely different team and no offense hornets but a completely different class! Good support today by you.
Lallana's touch was worth the entrance fee alone; no the season ticket fee. It was right infront of me too.
Hornette TID, I had to laugh at the yellow writing in your signature. Whenever I hear that song I think about our two FA Cup finals. Did you know that Coldplay are Spurs and Exeter fans???? Btw. You guys didn't deserve to go in one down at halftime, but having read your posts it seems you didn't appreciate how strong Saints were in the second half. Did you see Lallana's "touch" In the first half??
Hoped TV would clear it up...but no. The FLS got to be the worst sports show on TV. And Gilmartin Watford MotM...
To be fair having seen it again on TFLS i'm not sure how he gave that as a penalty but I guess he had a slightly better view than us!
Aww, well it seems that song means something to both clubs then. Yep, i did...but their song is for everyone, right? You were better than us in the second half, for sure. Nobody is disputing that. Um...i must have missed this 'touch'...sorry! i tend to spend more time watching my own team than the opposition tbh.
Well what can I say ! enjoyed it down here the saints fans were friendly , the hornets were noisy ,It was fantastic meeting up with some lovely folk! the game .........we were ok till the gift from the ref! then the saints outplayed us! for us MOM was Lloydy!
Yeah i see that now. At the time i had not seen the hand twisted the wrong way. I would have deleted the post or corrected it, but it was too late by then. I dont think it matters which team the band support. I am sure Gerry and the Pacemakers did not have Liverpool in mind when they wrote You'll never walk alone. But would you deny them the use of it?? I know we were dominated in the second half, but what no one seems to have mentioned was that until the first penalty Watford looked the stronger of the teams, we had had 2 shots well saved and another 2 which should have gone in if we were more clinical. I have said it before, if Southampton were 2 down within 20mins the complexion of the game could have changed. But who knows. All we know is we had a poor day at the office and you had a good one. But what more could we expect.
