You tell him Milky, Pablo will be our super sub, and start helping with the coaching, future manager when Bielsa goes.
That first save from Meslier was probably the best I have ever seen in a live game, it took my brain a couple of seconds to realise he had actually stopped it. I've seen videos of Banks' save in 1970 and I'm not sure it is actually better. The second save was superb too. Said to Ben, if it wasn't for those saves, Koch would have been my MOTM. Can't think of him putting a foot wrong or losing an individual battle. Many will disagree but I actually think he has been excellent in all three games. Highly unlucky with both penalties and blocked on the 2nd Liverpool goal, hopefully he will learn from it all but my reasoning is, we lost a key part of the Promotion winning team in Ben White but it hasn't disrupted the fluidity of our play at all. Going to be some player imo. The first penalty against Koch brings me on to my next point. Salah is a world class player but one of the reasons is, he is constantly looking for a goal and so hits loads of efforts from all angles. Rebounds, saves, blocks all potentially create opportunities and, indeed, penalties. Why did Jack not just smack that chance early on and see what happens? When he did it against Liverpool he got the reward and I really hoped he had added it to his game. Surely, it can't be that difficult to coach into a player - you see the whites of the keepers eyes hit the fekin thing? In my wisdom, I also said to Ben first half it is a weakness of Bamford that he doesn't get over his headers Finally, I'm now actually thinking I shouldn't have been happy with a highly honourable defeat at Anfield, we could be joint top today!!! Happy days and just trying to enjoy every moment but the old nerves have started to kick back in now it is for real - have to find something to help me chill
It'll be interesting to see who wins Sheffield United's g̶o̶a̶l̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶o̶n̶t̶h̶ shot on target of the month.
Chesh thinks it is compulsory for everyone to have a dual account, some nights it's the only conversation he gets
Greenwood has a nasty streak in him, some lovely passing and individual skills from Bogusz and Gelhardt and Drameh defending well. Need a second goal though.
Afternoon all. Why wasn't there the outrage about ridiculous hand ball decisions when we suffered one? I noticed how players, especially Vardy, are going down if there's a strong gust of wind in the Prem. I think a couple of them bought the penalty even though there was minimal contact. This season could be decided by VAR if it carries on. When Bruce, who's team profited from the decision, says it out of hand I think we're in trouble.
