Sir Alex Ferguson, the first British manager to win the Champions League, the treble, the premiership, first PL double, most successful manager of the 90's, changed the entire football world etc etc etc.

Sir Bobby Charlton, Englands most capped player, englands highest goal scorer, ambassador of the game, all time great, world cup winner, european cup winner, division one winner.

Take careful note of the words first and most in the above.

The problem with Liverloss is they they dont have a good strike force, UTD have 5 quality strikers, looserpoo only have Mandy and Suarez.
With the middle of the park Losttheplotpool have SG who has been out for 6 months so is still rusty, Lucas is average at best, so only just shade it over UTDs average CM
Now who has the best wingers UTD or Livercrap, well there is only one winner there UTDs wingers are far more effective.
Defence wise UTD is far better, except Goalkeeper.

So I can't see Liverpool getting anything other than a beating.
Queen Kenny will be forced to resign, KPR/EMP will have a heart attack and UTD will win the league!!!!! :)

You forgot about Man Whos lack of centre backs. Vidic and Smalling are out and Evans is useless. Suarez will take Evans apart. It won't be pretty.

I hope you mean the game of tiddleywinks. As he isn't an ambassador of football. He got Preston relegated in 1974. He's a joke and as a player was nothing more than a 1960s Frank Lampard, a one trick pony. Dreadful passer, His tackling was so bad, it made Scholes look good.
He couldn't lace Greame Souness' boots as Souness was an allrounder.

Joe ***an won the treble in 84, and Bob Paisley won the Champions League three times. I don't think the change of name is relevant at all.

Man United did NOT win the treble. The ''Treble'' or given its full title the ''Domestic treble'' which consists of the League Championship, the FA Cup and the League cup and has not been achieved by anyone. Manchester United AND Liverpool (Liverpool being the first under Joe ***an in 1984) achieved a domestic double and European treble.
In a nutshell that tithead is talking bollocks.
Bob Paisley won 3 European Cups in 9 seasons. Ferguson going onto his 26th year..still hasn't. Bob Paisleys title winning percentage is greater 6 in 9 = 67% Fergusons 12 in 25 is less than 50% (approximately 49%)

% means nothing. Jose Mourinho won the title two years out of 3 (67%) That doesn't mean he has a better legacy than Fergie. It would have been much harder for Paisley to continue that percentage for 26 years. As for his euro record. Yes it is better, but also note that the Champions league is harder to win than the european cup. no team has ever retained it.

As for your definition of treble. It is exactly that. Your definition. Nobody else's, because its bullshit. It is true you won a treble, but you won the league cup not the FA. Still an achievement but ours is better.

no because the FA cup is a more prestigious trophy. so a League-Europe-FA cup treble is better.

Oh and the reason your managers have great percentage and "won it in his first season" records is because they all inherited great sides from their predecessor. Whoever replaces ferge will have a title winning team first time out.

Whoever replaces Ferguson won't have a title winning team. They will have a poisoned chalice. Man United will do something incredibly stupid when Ferguson retires, they will attempt to appoint ''another Ferguson''. They don't need one. Once Ferguson goes...its all over.

Ok Mystic Meg. what's going to happen when Dalglish fails to bring in any silverware? Do Liverpool try and employ another Dalglish?

Probably not, it'll more than likely be some continental fairy ala Benitez and the vicious circle Liverpool find themselves in begins another turn.

Dalglish isn't going to fail. He may not take Liverpool where he wants them to be (which isn't 4th) within one season, and we're not expecting him to, and everybody else bar Liverpool fans say ''This is Liverpools year''.

Its on its way, he has been a revelation since he was appointed and January, he has not only steadied the ship, he has got some of the engines revving.

We're not the finished article by any means but we're a lot closer than many will admit. In signing Luis Suarez, he has signed one of the most exciting footballers in the premiership. If any player can be compared to the legend that is Kenny its Luis Suarez and not a second rate clogger like Rooney.

Sorry. It was Slur Alcie that signed Carrick, Anderson and Berbatov. He also paid £22.5 million for a centre back that was in a team that shipped 7 (Seven) against his. Then again the only defence Jones has is at the time he was managed by Fergusons boyfriend Fat Sam.

But "Slur Alcie" is the manager of the current champions.

Dalglish was once, at Blackburn. At Liverpool? Not a chance, his team aren't good enough.

So much deja vu. It's all very reminiscent of late March last year when a certain KPR was claiming Liverpool were nailed on certainties to get 5th ahead of Spurs and Utd were going to collapse and be overtaken by Chelsea. Remind me how that worked out again?

That may be true. But if any manager can get under Fergusons skin, its Kenny. They have a rivalry that dates further back than 1986, they were rivals when an 18 year old Kenneth Dalglish of Celtiic locked horns with Alex Ferguson of Rangers in a reserve game. Ferguson was a striker and Kenny was playing centre-back as he said ''to get an education''. Ferguson said he scored in that game, but Kenny said said Celtic won 2-0 and Fergie ''didnae get a kick''
