What fooball clubs want is miles away from what fans want...at least in the premier league. Best illustrated with the fixation of the top 4 trophy.
Mate. I have from day one, always been against VAR, I've seen nothing to change my opinion. We stopped the officials from taking responsibility. You've now like F1 got a computer running the game, it was only ever going to spoilt it. People want to scrutinise every decision, btw it won't stop there either, it's going to get worse
Greed. Even during COVID-19 they made themselves exempt from the rules, because they have the power of money.
There was 4 on the predictions thread, plus a few more commenting off it. Think most were hoping we would, as much as anything, you know how it is.
Having just come up from the Championship, VAR is the one thing that I know will ruin my enjoyment of going to matches. No problem when watching on TV as can watch all the replays and it sort of adds to the drama. As a season ticket holder though, not being able to truly celebrate a goal until the checks are complete and also not seeing why decisions have been reversed or otherwise can only be detrimental to my match day experience.
Agree...I went to Spurs v Rochdale in the FA Cup at Wembley in February 2018. VAR was a joke as was the ref...have been against it ever since. Imho refereeing has gotten far worse since VAR was introduced and it was pretty pisspoor before that.
He secretly believes but can't admit it to the masses. ****ing Leicester pissing off City before we get them next week!
