Bradley Johnson has been named in the provisional 30 man England squad!! Bloody hell Crapello. I doubt if Johnson had chosen Stoke ahead of Norwich, he'd be in there.

To be fair, Norwich players have their fair share of England injustice. John Ruddy wasn't called up, but championship Frankie fielding and Stockdale were. I thought Johnson was American anyway.

Heard somewhere that USA didn't want Johnson, not sure if it's true or how he qualifies for USA.

It seems (wikipedia) that he is English, but with some American family. He would need to apply for American citizenship to play for the US, and that is unlikely to be granted. I'm sure he'd love to play for England, but just thought he'd never get a look-in so enquirer about his eligibility for the US.

Why? If he's playing well (like he is) then why not?
