Good finish but Sunday league defending not picking up the player loafing around on the edge of the box.
It's not that in the law though. It is clearly not possible to jump with your arms down. It is simply an appalling decision...blaming the rule for today lets a ref off with making a really **** decision. We got an apology for a joke of a decision to deny us a penalty last season but it did not change the result and **** all happened to the ref. Every club could point to similar incidents...so I ain't claiming it's anti spurs...these are just the ones I know the best. The offside issue is a rule issue...it needs to change as judging someone is offside by mm is a bit of lottery. But today's handball is a farcical decision and imho, as someone who goes to games, it is killing football.
Not really sure, but it seems that VAR, by trying to completely eradicate error, is succeeding only in eradicating common sense. And completely preventing refs from trusting their first instincts.
Nah...they got a 95th min penalty. Appalling decision imho. I criticised VAR when it benefited us in the past and when it went against us so think I am pretty even handed but this was a bad decision from a ref who even got to look at the replays so it was not a VAR issue, just a very **** refereeing decision.
I have no idea why they got no points in the same fixture last season... In fact we always do well against them.. They're useless
Newcastle have had 3 shots on target in 3 entire league games. One of those shots being a penalty. Yet they’ve still managed to get 4 points. All hail Brucie the tactical genius
Not sure about Brenda's tactics here ... just inviting Citeh onto us ... and they are scarily good in the last third ..
