I would amend that to : If you are given such disgraceful decisions in your favour, choose a non penalty taker and have them soft-pass the ball to the GK. You make the point + do not eff up the stats for your usual penalty takers.
I thought it showed Carroll just onside and the Newcastle player closer was off. It was marginal but probably just on. Free kick was a joke though.

There may well be a lot of ex players on the advisory panel but it doesn’t follow that the administrators follow their advice. There are expert scientists in the SAGE panel , but look how little the politicians follow their recommendations.
You make more of a point kicking the ball the wrong way, by all means use a non penalty taker, except Sissoko of course. If he tried to miss he'd probably score.
