Come on mate there's been several of not all of them, so if they didn't give it I'd be fuming tbh It's just one game we'll get the same at some point all clubs will..
Fair play the Steve Bruce there like. Couldn't understand a word but it felt like he was saying the right thing.
There was a few baffling moments and **** decisions yesterday too tbf. I agree with you btw, glad I’m not currently paying to watch VAR destroy the game as a live spectacle. They’ve had a season to iron out the wrinkles and get VAR right, but it’s got worse.
That's not the rule...if it hits a players hand accidentally and the hand is in a natural position then it is not a penalty. Dier was jumping and hits arms were up due to that so therefore his arms were in s natural position. If he had not been jumping then it would have been a penalty. That's my understanding of the rule change. No one on the bbc, sky etc think it is a correct interpretation of the rules. Genuinely do not get how a qualified ref looked at that with a set of replays and says its a penalty
People are saying that this handball rule is nothing to do with VAR. But surely VAR is the reason that they're rewriting these rules?
Just heard a rumour that Richard masters was rushing around trying to find his phone charger while VAR were looking at the monitors
I saw VAR kill celebrations and produce really poor decisions last season at the lane...for and against us. It's ****, and imho it is killing the atmosphere at games and is changing decision that are not clear and obvious errors (millimetre offsides spring to mind) and **** refereeing decisions are not being corrected...which is bollocks cos that's why it is supposed to be in place.
I don't miss losing games when the top sides start diving in the box mind.. At least thats gone. This handball rule is ridiculous I said it myself yesterday. I'm just saying that in light of what's been given since the season started that it was more fair it was given than not.
ok, by half time Spurs were all over Newcastle... I fell a sleep during half time woke up to find Bruce's boys had snatch a point
