Agree with every thing you say except Gooch and Maguire playing every game, neither are consistent enough for me, both loose the ball far too easily and I prefer only one of them to start, probably Maguire, but he needs to stop taking corners if Scowen, or better still Leadbitter is on the pitch.

We have beaten two rivals, not both rivals.

Agree with a lot of that.

Mixed bag from Burge. Looked shaky but well done to him and the team for keeping a clean sheet.

Leadbitter and Scowen played some good football and moved the ball well. Scowen was guilty of being sloppy a few times. I think he will get better with a run of games.

They were getting overrun for parts of the game, which is where you need someone like Dobson in there.

Parkinson has a tough choice because none of the centre mids are great and all have their weaknesses.

With Maguire - agree he has poor games but he is capable of a moment magic - a record of a goal in every 4 games for an attacking midfielder is good.

His minging is better than our centre forward offered yesterday.

He was against Bristol too... but we’d have lost without him!! Think that’s the issue. When he plays poorly, he still has the ability to change a game. I love and hate him in equal measure!! Frustrating but can be brilliant!!

We’ve also only played two rivals. There’s a lot so far to be positive about. 7 points in 3 games. 2 against promotion rivals. Without playing well. We were well ahead of Oxford and deserved winners. Peterborough were the better side for 70 minutes yesterday but didn’t really make our keeper produce a worldy. And for the 20 minutes we were better we still didn’t create! But we still won. Fergie’s utd did that and they were his favourite wins. (Not comparing isn’t just the situations). 36 more games like we’ve just had gets us the championship with games to spare.

Marcus if we have 36 more games like yesterday well all be in the loony bin.
we hardly ever do easy wins where fans can relax for the final 20 minutes or so.

    It's just opinions though mate.

I don't mind saying I wasn't impressed with 2 on target arrempts even though I'm happy with the win.

We'll need more than that in most games imo.

From 8:30 on, the highlights capture how much of a liability Willis is.

Im not sure if footy forums are for you mate. The whole point in them is to debate and share our opinions :emoticon-0138-think.

Agree absolutely about Wyke. Hes the worst centre forward in our history. He offers absolutely nothing. Parkinson praised him for his work rate and closing their defenders down but surely a striker has to offer more than that. I think hes a bottom end L1 striker and that's me being hopeless. He should be nowhere near a safc first-choice 11. I'd play o'Brien, grigg or Graham before him every day of week. The lack of quality striker and keeper are our biggest issues and could potentially cost us promotion.
