I wonder if that's the last time Alonso pulls on a Chelsea shirt? They don't need him and Emerson as back-up for Chilwell (and you could argue that with Azp, they don't need either), and with the window still open for another week or so...

I very much get the impression though that Frank isn't a fan. He dropped him multiple times last season. And went and spent £50m on Chilwell.

I rate him higher than Emerson, but it's partly for that reason why it might be Alonso to go - ie easier to attract interest/get a good price for him.
