Another away win at a tough Palace side who were full of confidence and work their socks off. I’d have been happy with a point today, so 3 is a cracking result.
I know Brighton lost but they are looking like a good team this season ... certainly the better team today by some margin.
Everton have been genuinely eye catching this season. What expectations do you have for the season after this start? They look a classy side and a handful to play against. Could they upset the top 6 or even 4?
They were incredibly unlucky today, got the well deserved equaliser and then Maupay had a brain fart. We’ve got them next up.
It’s a great start mate, but that’s all it is. I’m making no daft predictions at this stage. All I will say is, we look a completely transformed side from the weak backed team we saw at times last season, who’s midfield was completely unbalanced and offered little creativity and virtually no defensive cover. Got to be happy though, especially given we’ve had 2 tough away fixtures in our opening 3 games.
My lads won today, so I'm happy. Not a comfortable win at all, Blackpool were a strong side, it simply was a case of getting the two goals and hang on then for the rough ride. Debut boy Dominic Samuel from Blackburn Rovers scored both. Now I can laugh at Chelsea
I forgot this is the Premier league board and you will be held accountable for any over excitedness at this stage. Injuries pending, possible top 6 this year imo. Playing good stuff.
Don't worry, they won't finish above you lot but the looks of Man Utd, Leicester, Chelsea, Wolves haven't really got going yet. They already bossed Spurs.
