Give the man a break, hes a passionate supporter but still has certain responsibilities on this whole forum. At least hes stepping up to try and sort things out, some of your posts can be taken the wrong way very easily, not saying they are meant to be but to maybe state they are not meant as genuine abuse wouldn't lose you any brownie points among the rest of the posters.
A few of them have had ticking offs and a few bans handed out too. but thats for how they are on our boards.
Look mate I have already said if a Mag comes here having a pop he gets popped back. I have no problem at all talking to one of you lot that isn't getting on my tits. Earlier today I congratulated one of yours for being 3rd. None of my posts to Mugs can be taken the wrong way if they are taking the piss I tell them to **** off. The 4 or 5 regular Mug arsewipes can't have it both ways, posting abuse and taking the piss out of us, then suddenly turn around and want to debate. I have stayed out of the Bramble threads as I don't find Rape funny! Or like the idiot in my signature who makes jokes about a guy who could have cost two women their lives. Not funny or clever. You say I should give him a break? His post is a load of bile pointed in my direction! You saying I should duck and forget about it? He is "stepping up" and abusing me without backing it up. I'm not bothered about brownie points or Rep or being loved or anything else. I am bothered about SAFC and everything about our great club, oh and having my say on how things are at SAFC. The sad thing is the very small minority of the pro Bruce supporters are the ones hurling any abuse about! But they think it's fair because they are right!
I know I said I was going but the problem with being a mod is, you cant just gi. I will try and explain, again. My post to you was my reply to your post, nothing to do with Bruce but to do with your post. The OP was me, a mod, trying to find a solution to a problem, you may well not see a problem but I do, my inbox tells me. I have tried to explain and again, its not me its your fellow SAFC fans telling me they see 3 problems. The Bruce arguments and again I explained they will resolve themselves. The visiting Newcastle fans, some are wums and some are decent posters, the wums the mods have decided to simply delete so they are no longer a problem, the decent posters are welcome, before anyone asks, what about Chapaz, a name that comes up a lot. Despite what Chapaz likes to keep saying this is not an open board, it is an open forum and he is quite welcome to visit any board. He or any other visitor must accept they are indeed guests. Now in his case I fully understand how he gets people wound up, he does however also have SAFC fans who enjoy debating with him. Should I ban him becasue he sometimes gets on my tits, abuse of power if I did so in his case all the mods ask is to ignore him, not give him abuse because he is not your taste. The final complaint is abuse between SAFC fans so I asked if everyone could help, including me, by trying to cut it down. Your post indicated that you did not agree and if I was to ban you then so be it, even though no mention of bans have ever come up. All I and the mods are asking for is see that. I really have had enough and so have the other mods and I am sick of the whole thing TBH, no not crying or threatening or feeling sorry for myself, just being honest. If the way I want the board to run is not what people want, I honestly have no problem in stepping aside.
Stop using the Mod **** as an excuse. Your original post was about abuse, you then abused me. Like I say double standards, point me to where I have abused a fellow Mackem. Including your good self. Yes it is wanted here Sombrero. It's just one or two who are spoiling this forum for the majority. I'm pissed off with the behaviour of some of our so called fellow fans. They go on about veiled remarks made by some of you guys and then do exactly the same with stupid childish remarks aimed at their own, that we are "mag lovers" because we don't follow their train of thought on how to treat visiting mag fans. Some people need to ****ing grow up!
There's only two or three on both sides who spoil the banter by overstepping the mark. You, Syd and BB have got your work cut out mate. I don't envy your job and the arseholes who make it difficult for you should appreciate what you do. They get right on my tits. There's been a gradual slowdown of regulars on your board, probably because they've had enough of the ****e generated by certain posters. Shame......
