The standard of defending as a whole is poor mate. It's already showing itself to be **** this season and when you look around the quality isn't there anywhere.
I think the high scorelines and lack of low scoring draws suggests generally poor defences. I was also looking at the top 6-10 clubs in the prem atm and can't think of any that have a defence comparable to say the best clubs 10 years ago.
Personally I think the game has become much more expansive over the last decade, the overall quality of in terms of attacking personnel has increased and managers are far less inclined to have the mentality of a ‘clean sheet first’. That said, centre halves who can’t play out from the back and are just defenders first and foremost, are way out of fashion. Same goes for full backs.
it's done. Sancho is staying at Dortmund. This is their new fitness coach please log in to view this image
Well yeah I suppose lol. He looks painfully out of his depth to me. I’d be amazed if there wasn’t open disquiet about him in that United squad.
The worrying thing is that players are signing because of him and players seem to have his back. Awful manager with no qualifications other than Manyernited.
I’m not sure many players would put Ole as their prime reason for signing for United tbh like. What they say publicly and what is said between themselves behind closed doors are two different things imo mate. It was miraculous that you somehow left there with 3 points yesterday, if you’d have left with nothing you couldn’t have complained. If he loses that he’s under massive pressure already, might be a turning point though I suppose.
Probably not their prime reason but it’s been well documented that VDB was swayed by Ole’s attention to detail in the deal. I’ll give Ole some credit he seems to have put the ruthless streak in the front three but other than that, absolute clown. Him, Phelan and Carrick need to bounce. If Woodward kebabs him after that victory, Ole doesn’t have a leg to stand on. We’ve been utter ****e since Saints last season.
It should have been at the end of last season. Might seem harsh considering we finished third but the feeble surrender in FA cup and Europa league were better indicators for me. I've said on a thread on United board, make him the DoF if we need one. He has a good idea of where we need to be and who to sign. He just can't coach. Make him that, and bring Poch or Allegri in. Has Allegri got a job, cba to check?
Allegri is already promised to Newcastle once the PL make a decision on the takeover Poch looks like number one pick, but Allegri should be the one.
simple cast and you ****ing chomp. Plus Not at any point did I say anything about Everton. Billy ****ing big bollocks.
