Probably nothing and just waiting for someone to respond, a mention of Micheal dell and he’s trying. New member also so wouldn’t take too much into it
If it wasn’t one or all of the Americans and in fact was JS what would everyone think, me personally got no qualm towards him but he must start saying and doing things straight away and not be a silent owner
Don’t think JS could do it on his own and his FIL couldn’t pass the tests with his tax case still looming imo
He's young, clever, successful, cosmopolitan, wealthy and with access to lots of cash. He's also a fan of the game...something often overlooked. Football is a big deal in Uruguay. Personally,I would be happy to see him take it on.
The biggest worry for me is if Donald and Methheid are still involved, both have been proven to be calamities
A lot of his FIL's wealth has gone to Juan's wife, hasn't it? So there wouldn't really be an issue. FWIW, I'm confident JS is heavily involved.
Even with the euphoria of a takeover, if the cage fighters are involved still, I'll be very reluctant to put my hands in my pockets, such is my loathing of them. I can honestly say, I have never had vibes like this in all my life following the lads.
Methven is a dick and a PR nightmare, but he's fairly competent and I'm weirdly confident he and others would do well. The last few years of **** hasn't been his fault - more Donald & Hill.
If that happens, and I hope it doesn't,hopefully both will be intelligent enough to have learned from their mistakes.
They couldn’t possibly continue to brush shoulders with the fans and drink pints as sooner or later one of them would get twatted
Don't get me wrong, I don't like him as a person, but I'm happy with what I've heard from this summer
Wouldn't bother me. Don't really care who our potential new owners actually are as long as they go all out to employ the best staff they can get. If that meant we'd have to pay inflated wages for good coaches, scouts analysts and all the rest that goes with it, well I could live with that. Think you'd have better long term results that way than overpaying on transfers, wages and agents fees.
I'd be happy with Sartori, he's got money, connections with even more money and is a passionate bloke who loves football. I like the sound of his idea to swap our youngsters with Uruguayan talent to get them experience and a few cheap signings for us. The only fly in the ointment is that he's a busy man over there but left in the right hands, maybe the ones it's in now minus Donald and Methven, probably no big deal.
