Is there not huge money in qualified leads still? Even if the smart people go for inbound calls from landing pages?
It’s fading due to GDPR ... opt in rather than opt out.

harder to evidence actual qualified lead and fines for misuse of / selling customer data outweighs the benefit

Cheers, I'll have a read. The bit I'll specifically look for will be how China plans to get the return on its investment, as I doubt they're getting involved for philanthropic reasons, and could be simply making a play for the mineral rights and destabalising the west.
Africa has minerals and raw materials in abundance. China sussed out ages ago that their own resources were going to run out at the rate their population was expanding and started to look at imports. China just announce that it aims on being carbon neutral by 2060 but that still gives them 40 years to utterly f.uck the atmosphere with coal burning power stations along with damming rivers, flooding valleys, eating pandas etc

In fairness the UK can't sustain itself without imports so China isn't doing anything out of the ordinary on that score.
