I didn't see him for nearly a decade. .Wandered round, he was out cleaning a car, Looked up and just said 'wft, you back for a while mate?'

    Like nothing had ever happened.

Can get you into a world of ****, but rarely dull.

    I could write a book.

Was great fun for a decade or 2 that philosophy <laugh>

Never regret what you have done, only what you never had the nerve to do

I think the OP is more about change than boredom, I'm certainly never bored but don't really do anything outside of what I consider normal and I certainly don't crave a more exciting lifestyle.

  11. I study and play guitar which, in itself, keeps me engaged with the creative side of my psyche.

Plus, I have a whole raft of other interests.

Life is what you make of it.

I go out on my bike, not really thinking about where I might end up.

    That's enough excitement for me.

I live quite a dull life these days really. Vast majority of it is either working or looking after little man. Suits me down to the ground though and happy like that, had enough madness during young adulthood.

Want to do some travelling once he's grown up though.

Nowt dull about looking after your kids mate, I couldn’t think of many things better than that. Obviously at about 3pm when they’re both in that ‘****off dad’ mood I’d retract every bit of the above sentence.

Yeah I mean dull as in I've a very settled routine and don't go outside of it much. As you know I don't find spending time with him dull in itself.

I tell you what’s boring; televised football in empty stadiums. I’d sooner watch the World Suduko finals, on that Welsh language channel.

This might change if Saints manage to win a game. Probably not though tbh. Burnley vs Saints live from an empty Turf Moor. How about bollocks?

Always had a philosophy of trying new things and seeking adventure. Got me into a few sticky situations when I was younger, but also meant I ended up staying with a Shamanic tribe in the jungle in Venezuela and surfing in sharky waters off the coast of Baja & California amongst other things, so I've always embraced that 'go for it' attitude.

Life is a bit more settled when you have kids, it kind of has to be with school and routine etc and of course you realise you can't go lobbing yourself off of cliffs into the sea anymore in case you die and there's nobody to look after your kids. But I still try and keep a bit of that 'edge' going in my life with surfing, biking, sea swimming, wild camping etc.

When my daughter gets to the same age I was when I started throwing caution to the wind and taking risks though, I'll probs be a nervous wreck as I know just how close I came to death a few times.

No idea why they picked that as the Saturday 8pm ko. Can't see anyone wanting to watch that.

It’s a stroke of genius really. Could kill the PL off as a spectacle in one 90 minute ****fest. I mean if me and you don’t want to watch it, who the **** does? Burnley fans? Unlikely.
