Wait, so McCann is saying they aren't getting tested in the next couple of days?

    Are they for ****ing real?

    What the actual ****?

My mum's a TA in a primary school and she was in until the six weeks holiday because of key workers' kids still being in class (albeit there was only like 9 kids in the entire year group in school, so teachers worked on a rota) but they were still in. When she wasn't in, she was bored ****less and couldn't wait for things to resume as normal in September.

I get the theory of there being no risk to our players but why even risk it? What's the harm in confirming that we're ok with tests? Bizarre.

This means they knew before the team lineups were released - the same team lineups which featured the players who tested positive.

I'm sorry, but that is plenty of time to decide to postpone the game. The reasons being given by both sides and the EFL are utter bollocks.

Also - why did West Ham do tests that would give results that close to a match? That's stupidly reckless.

    Not surprised at the result.

Found our spirit refreshing. I really am warming to this lot. In fact not far from putting that I am proud of them.

As a side note, playing the Beatles as goal music is cringe at the best of times, let alone a stadium devoid of fans.

It's a real missed opportunity not letting the fans in, after they went to all that trouble setting up the bubbles.

Getting tested should be a priority after every game, regardless.

After a game where you know the other side has had covid? It should really be that the squad goes into isolation.

I love the logic of it all. Players nudge and hustle, and give high fives and have big hugs as they leave the pitch, and then have to sit 2 metres away from each other in the stand, often with a muzzle on.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Presumably the three who tested positive didn’t do anything like that in training in the last couple of days though or according to Govt all the other Wham players should have immediately gone home to self isolate.
    Didn’t travel there together either.
    Fact...must be?

Absolutely agree, especially when you consider that Haller, Anderson and Yarmolenko cost a combined £100 million and that's without thinking of the value of Lanzini, Snodgrass and Wiltshire. Our young, untried defence all had positives in their performances.
