Nasri, Toure, Adebayor, Clichy all ex Arsenal employee's (within the last few seasons). Viera in a behind the scenes role and rumors of making an offer for Van Persie. No doubt they have a lot of money but do they suffer from a lack of originality? Or are their scouts just really lazy?

Out of that four, 2 have already failed. So we mugged them twice but maybe Clichy was a good deal for them. Nasri not sure yet. As for your question, yes they do. Thing is a club like that can easily do this to us. They have the money and for the players its a massive increase in wages and they do not have move leagues. How City with all that money still have Toure and Lescott as their other CB is unreal? Oh ****, maybe they will target TV next. Also we need to tie Wilshere and AOC on a Cesc like contract soon.

I've said it before and depressing as it is...

We are the perfect feeder club for Man City.

We are willing to see our best players.
So City can come to us and buy a World Class player WITH PREMIERLEAGUE EXPERIENCE. (United and Chelsea wont sell)
We have an great academy and scouting network are therefore a constant source of potentially world class talent.

We're still a feeder club until we 1. keep our best players and 2. add to the squad where we are weakest.

If Arsenal all of a sudden start paying £200,000 per week wages they'll not have to worry about Nasri-type situations.

Put it this way, man city and chelsea have basically bought their way to the top, that is the underlying truth. They were no-where before abramovich and the middle eastern owners took over, they were floating mid table with the odd push for 6th place. It is and absolute disgrace and real madrid also do this, they just buy players, they have no real development system and they are going to put everyone else out of business. Arsenal did extremely well to stay at the top when the russian revolution happened at chelsea but although i am desperately dissappointed at how we have started the season, when you take a step back and see what we have to work with, we are at a real disadvantage. Losing our best two players and as you say we have lost most of our best players to man city, just shows how bad a football club they really are, they can't develop their own or use good scouting networks to find promising young players, they instead look at at obvious options and see players like nasri adebayor toure clichy who are good players and they just steal them from other clubs, and it is wrong. I also don't think that wenger is getting any help from the boardroom, they say that he is allowed to spend £40m on a player but they won't heighten the wages, no player worth £40m is gonna come for £90,000 a week which is a sad fact although wenger wouldn't spend that sort of money on a player because he is far too smart to be drawn in by big figures. That is why i will stick by wenger to the very end, because he is fighting for what he believes in while all these man city fans jump on the money band waggen.
