But why would you ever decline a test to check you haven't got an infectious disease, regardless? Christ, even if I kept myself inside my house and made no contact with a single human for a year, I'd still take the ****ing test.
Maybe that's why our marking has been a bit tentative? Or maybe they think the ball is infected with COVID-19.
I'm guessing that this is not a reflection of the whole truth, as the news broke so late. It smacks to me of an organisation trying to cover their backs. Let's hope the ramifications are not too widespread. I'm sure that our wider management will realise in time that the correct option on being informed of the positive test results was to get all Hull City staff out of there immediately. I sincerely hope that they don't live to regret their shocking decision.
Because if somebody complains about having to wear a bit of material over their mouth out of courtesy and health towards other people, they're a massive pussy.
To be fair as Al said it would have been pointless anyway Tests only work when it’s developed (that’s why you need symptoms before you go) Also I remember reading they’d offered them one during the week so maybe it’s got confused?
Question is, regardless of when these tests happened... how come the news of the results has come out AFTER the kick off and only just before kickoff for the teams (or West Ham at least)? That's ****ing reckless. Did our lot know even? Or did they find out at half time? I wonder.
I'd say bollocks to tonights game and let West Ham have the win and dispute it with the EFL after. Get every City player isolated and tested ASAP. At this point, it's not just the players who have been put at risk because of tonight's game going ahead. Most of our and West Ham's players have family and kids they go home to. Who's gonna be held responsible if one of the player's bairns gets severely sick and in hospital with respiratory issues?
