I know people are passing on what they can in good faith but I must admit I'm not at all convinced about it being at EFL stage. Presumably that would happen when it was agreed, at which point its likely NDAs wouldn't apply any more. Even if they were still in place while they ironed out minor issues I expect things would start leaking. The more people know about it, the more will come out. That being said I don't think Bob can be so certain that the takeover won't happen. If we're in talks and have been in talks with Fuhrman then Bob has no earthly clue how it will end.
That last paragraph is correct. It’s miles away from being anything be it a takeover or further investment,it’s clear that GF is circling and has done for over a year.
Give it a rest man. You claimed Sunderland and Newcastle would go into administration if the owners cut the funding and you were wrong. All this deflection is boring and nothing to do with your original incorrect claim. And this bollocks about football clubs not being normal businesses doesn't wash with me. They pay tax, NI, have incomes and outgoings and have to file accounts, same as every other business. And if they don't have enough income they fall by the wayside. Opinions are fine. However Bob claims to be ITK about all and sundry when the reality is he isn't. The daft ****er claimed Nixon worked for the Chronicle when he didn't and also claimed the Don had paid back the FPP loan when he hadn't. And his schoolgirl fan club who have their tongues so far up his hoop ignore this yet expect folk to believe what they're saying. Got to be a canny ****wit to be doing that imo and my ****wittery doesn't stretch that far.
I understand what you're saying and I know his communication isn't always the best but and this is important. He ****ing knows our current owners personally, if he was anymore "itk" from they're side he would own the club.
He might well have done. I'm not sure they'd listen to him though, and even if they did you'd think some other outlets would hear rumbles and start to report on it. I'm not totally sure why Jones wouldn't want them to report it as well, fair enough in the early stages of negotiations but when it's that advanced and pretty much done bar the approval, I'm not sure why he wouldn't let them get in and report it before anyone else. Hopefully that's what's happening like!
If he hears from Donald then fair enough . If its just Methven I'd take anything he hears with a pinch of salt.
