Actually I correctly a bitter Kopite who claimed you can’t get a top drawer player for £20m by pointing to a BBC article that said the fee was actually £12m. It’s called sarcasm.

The bitter Kopites all nodded in agreement with him btw.

The same bitter Kopites only a week later are obviously now proclaiming £20m purchase Thiago as Wuuuuurrrllld class.
