Like many have said here, it's a matter of time before we sell one of them, probably Salah. He's been curious about his options for a few years now. Not so much because he's unhappy here, why would he be, but because his dream was always Juve or Real. His agent has been hawking him around for a while to see if anything bites. I can't see Liverpool's current model being to keep players far beyond their resale value given how we operate in the market right now. I think Mane could adapt his game and get a few more years
Totally agree. We buy young with an eye on resale value, would make since to actually sell them later on so that money can be reinvested. Salah's at the peak of his prime and his value is only going to decrease from here on in. It's why I've been saying I'd be tempted to sell him now and look at getting Sancho who as a decade at the top in front of him.
Yeah, we'll see plenty of him this season. For that price he won't be just bench material and it will take the weight off of Sadio and Mo's shoulders
Bobby too, apparently Jota is used to playing in a front two aswell so more options as the season progresses
Jurgen Klopp is said to be more than happy to keep Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer after Liverpool insisted they have no intentions of selling the player. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/jurgen-klopps-stance-alex-oxlade-22712538
Salah is alongside kdb the best player in the league. Why would you sell your best player when you’re at the top. Yeah resale value might be highest right now but the best teams don’t get rid of their best players in their prime. Some players you can keep past their best because they still offer immense value on the pitch.
You really shouldn’t drink on an empty head. In January of this year Utd still owed over £100m in transfer fees, including Pogba who’s fee was negotiated over a 5 year payment term. That report was published before the pandemic!!

Brewster favours Palace transfer Crystal Palace are the favourites to sign Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster, according to reports. Klopp is looking to offload the 20-year-old, whose game time will be even more limited after the arrival of Diogo Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Sheffield United are also believed to be in the race to sign Brewster, but The Sun claims that Brewster, who spent last season on loan at Championship side Swansea City, would prefer a permanent move to Palace. The Reds reportedly want a fee of £20million for the youngster. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/liverpool-transfer-news-wijnaldum-brewster-22715737
19m plus 6m add ins plus 37m buy back clause. shame to see him leave without getting chances in first team
There's proof if ever you needed it of journos just making stuff up. I'm a bit surprised that Palace took the time to correct them. Maybe they don't get the same level of transfer rumours that we do. We would have someone employed full time correcting the 'news'.
Liverpool have accepted a bid from Sheffield United for star forward Rhian Brewster, according to a report from the usually reliable Fourth Official. After his hugely successful loan spell with Championship side Swansea City in the second half of last season, interest in Brewster has been plentiful this summer, but it looks like Sheff United have won the race to sign the England U21 international. https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/09/16/sheffield-united-and-liverpool-agree-fee-for-rhian-brewster/ Liverpool attacker Divock Origi has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Brighton and could be sold in order to balance the books. The Daily Mail have claimed the Seagulls are looking at the 25-year-old, who has not yet appeared for the Reds in 2020/21. The Belgian international is currently on the fringes at Anfield, with Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino firmly established in the starting XI. https://tbrfootball.com/report-brighton-showing-interest-in-liverpool-forward-divock-origi/
