They were trying to make an issue of this on Sky (or Carra was: Neville was adamant right from the start that he was off). Thing is though, even had the goalie got a foot to it first (no chance), where is he kicking it? Against Mane or Christensen? He can't grab it. And your point about Kompany is well made. That was a title-deciding decision - despicable decision. Are you back now?
I reckon it might have been deliberate. He was probably chatting with Alisson who mentioned Jorginho's technique was crap and all he had to do was not dive early. There are going to be a lot of penalties this season and Chelsea's main taker has been completely #exposed
Frank Lampard: What I really think about Liverpool FC signing Thiago Alcantara Frank Lampard delivers his verdict on new Liverpool FC signing Thiago Alcantara https://www.thesportreview.com/2020/09/liverpool-fc-news-lampard-thiago-chelsea-fc/
Irrelevant as far as the red cards is concerned. If the keeper gets there first (clearly wasn't) it's not a sending off. Where, how or why the keeper kicks it is of zero relevance. Not read back so if you were just discussing the situation and not the red card... as you were
When Christensen was sent off yesterday, staff on the Liverpool bench clapped and celebrated. Klopp turned round from the touch line and shouted: “Are you crazy? We never ever do that, ok?” Just when I thought I couldn't like the man any more!
After the Atleti game Costa was reportedly fake coughing on people, with a big grin on his face. Nothing funny about that. I never glory in other's defeats but I made an exception when they went out of the CL.
Nope, couldn't watch it as my firestick isn't working. Had to settle for Five Live. I can honestly say I wouldn't have celebrated though, I'd have been happy the right decision was reached but not celebrate it.
He's a cock. Always made me laugh when they used to say he's one of those players you live if he's in your team but the opposition dislike him; no, he's an actual ****.
I don't recall seeing that. It doesn't sound like something we would do. Even if they were clapping the decision rather than the man being sent off, there is a subtle difference, it was the wrong thing to do. I'm going over to LFCTV to check it out now Edit: it's not on there yet. I think they have to wait 24hrs.
Am i right in assuming that your firestick is working but your modbro , kodi set up has been nobbled by the authorities . PS obviously i just quietly said "oh hard lines old chap " as the red card finally appeared .
Surely that would only be true if the keeper gets to the ball before the foul and has it under control? And under those circumstances even a yellow might not be given unless the tackle was dangerous. If the incident occurs when it did, there's no certain way of knowing the outcome if no foul were committed. Mané is through on goal with only the keeper to beat and gets fouled from behind, therefore red.
Great result yesterday and some excellent performances. I'm surprised fab hasn't been given more attention, he was astonishing yesterday. Had werner in his pocket all game. I thought he had one of his best games for us. Mane again showing why he really is so important for us. I really do love that lad, his desire to be the best he can be is inspirational. Red card was stone wall, even at first sight, for all peoples pissing and moaning about it, I'd rather have it then not. The standard of our refs just isn't good enough, they need the additional help. Finally some of the balls played through by thaigo must have salah and and mane pissing themselves with joy. They may not have quite come off, but they will. Goals a plenty with the ball coming through him. Importantly as well, teams can no longer sit on our full backs knowing its cuts down out attacking threat.
