To be fair it was night and day from last week and post lockdown. First time I have seen us control a game so well it quite some time.

you’re comparing us to the last 10 games of the season. It was like being 10-0 up and cruising then....you simply cannot compare. First game vs Leeds was like a pre-season. Arsenal and Everton up next....could prove tougher tests as Chelsea probably need another £250m <whistle>

I find it funny that commentators keep pointing out how we've dropped so many points from our recent games - disregarding the fact that almost all of them came after the league was done and dusted.

There was a table of the top six after the lockdown we are bottom of the table.

probably the only injury that we had in that post Covid spell was Hendo. We were home and hosed. Why push more.

Apart from Carra and Jemie Redknapp , others can only see negative things about Liverpool.

Just got back from watching the game round my old man's

    ****ing love beating Chelsea.

Lampard was arrogant by continuing to try and play out from the back after the sending off, knew we'd catch em cold eventually playing like that around our front three... **** you think you are! <laugh>

Chuffed, and Thiago coming on just topped it. Not even fussed about that pen, utter bollix it was given imho.

Anyway 6pts and 3 off one of the so called top 4. Get in. <cheers>

Loved today’s game for a number of reasons:

    1) Shoving it in Fat Frank’s face, the a*sewipe.

    2) This was the LFC side before Project Restart. Controlled, dominant, defensively sound, and ruthless.

    3) I was worried about Fabinho vs Werner but he absolutely bossed it. My MOTM

    4) Seeing Thiago boss it for 45 mins. It was the ideal situation to come into as Chelsea were sitting deep after going down to 10 mins but he didn’t disappoint. Setting a record for a number of passes by a single player in 45 mins. We finally have a midfielder who demands the ball and dictates

He just didn't want to make the big decision, knew he could fall back to VAR.

Cowardly, but also the safe choice for a ref I guess

I saw the yellow and was like what the actual ****?
Was glad when it went to var cos there was no doubt so I was certain he'd be shown a red and good thing he was too.

    Faith in var restored <whistle>
