Exactly the right decision according to the current law: Handball if: Touches the ball with their hand/arm when: •the hand/arm has made their body unnaturally bigger • the hand/arm is above/beyond their shoulder level (unless the player deliberately plays the ball which then touches their hand/arm) The above offences apply even if the ball touches a player’s hand/arm directly from the head or body (including the foot) of another player who is close.
Then it's a **** rule. That's not handball. The Man Utd one yesterday wasn't handball, either. Awful change.
Although it makes no difference to the final result, that shouldn’t be the point. If that had been a penalty to draw level or win then it would have been such an injustice. Even Man U had one against them yesterday which says it all. why do they bring these stupid laws in? Who makes these decisions? They must have never played football before
5-2 FT. Awful first half, then Southampton were suicidal after the break. Kane and Son were great. Lo Celso and Lamela did well when they came on. Everyone else was either mediocre or poor. Our midfield and our tactics really need a good, long look.
Shocking first half then lethal in the second. I thought NDombele looked encouraging in the first 45 then GLC’s energy helped us in the second. Højbjerg looked much more settled in the second half too. Onto the next. We need a second striker though Levy, Kane was blowing at the end!
