Haha you got me there Ron! Was actually just about to do a pre-match thread. What does Waddock do tomorrow - stick with the system that has put in 2 excellent performances at home against big clubs who will be challenging for the title, or revert to a more cautious approach away from home against a side level on points and near the bottom with us where avoiding defeat is important. It's a big decision. We have a recent history of getting up for games against the big clubs and then not following it up against weaker opposition. If we play like we did against Sheffield United and Preston then we will surely beat Rochdale. And that is what I would go for. We should go for the win while confidence is high. Competition for places is high so the players will be up for producing a repeat performance. My team would be: Bull Foster Tunnicliffe Johnson Sandell Lewis Rowlands Grant Donnelly Harris Beavon
I'd go with relatively the same team, but change the full backs; either Mccoy and Foster or Mccoy and Sandell, as they were the reason we leaked in goals on tuesday. My team: Bull Foster (LB) Johnson Tunni Mccoy Lewis Rowlands Donnelly Harris Grant Beavon Subs: Sandell, Bloomfield, Harding, Rendell, Strevens
cheers matster ,and good luck to your boys as well,i agree with the blues foster at left back replacing sandell who is way off form and starvin marvin at right back.
team confirmed: bull foster tunnicliffe johnson sandell harris rowlands donnally lewis grant beavon subs McCoy harding ainsworth rendell benyon strevens is off to crawley instead today according to his twitter page!
I'm ashamed to say I've turned it off for now. It sounds dire. Maybe they'll do better when I'm not listening.
That was the point at which I'd heard enough Rocky. Is it my imagination or do we always go downhill when we make substitutions, whereas the opposition always seem to better with theirs? PS can you believe L. Orient?
your right ron so far our substitutions havent worked.unbelievable that we can perform so well against top of the table sides but bottle it against teams down the bottom
I've just seen the interview on player and rocky your right. Pissed off is an understatement. Despite that though although he is right about once they step over the white line it is down to them as players and its them that have to make the right decisions i couldn't help but think he wasn't taking any responsibility for the fact that he also has to motivate them to play in these types of games.
