Exactly. If Kenny wanted an inside forward, he probably would have signed someone like Young, but Kenny wanted a natural wideman, and he wanted an English natural wideman, therefore he signed Downing. So I completely agree that there is no first or second choices with regard to this.
Forget I said anything. People shouldn't complain he goes missing, then. Personally I have no axe to grind, just compared to the two signings from Villa, it's Young who seems to be coming off better atm. That's all. And Villa can sod off 'n all. Not moaning about McLeish now, are they?
You won't catch me complaining about him! Although I'm less than impressed with Carroll's determination and ability at this point in time...
I might be the only one, but I have been really impressed with Andy Carroll in the last 3 games he has participated in. He got his goal today and he deserved it. He has shown plenty of determination recently.
I don't agree right now. They're walking away with it atm. OK, they're playing Blackburn who are pretty **** but they've taken this campaign by the scruff of the neck. They're gonna be hard to beat domestically. Agbonlahor and Nasri are a pain in the bloody arse. They have to go!
Agree 100%. Downing has done well for us so far and will push on as the season progresses. He did have a quiet game today though.
Delighted with the result and pleased for Carroll. Hopefully he can kick on from here! Agree that the Rodwell red card probably wasn't a red card but we can't change it now. I was sat in the pub with an Everton fan so getting the victory was even better because I could rub it in a bit! Good to get a bit of form going into the United game... YNWA.
What's full of **** about that? It's a genuine question. why do sissy's get rewarded in football? Obviously over your pea brained head.
My thoughts: So much for a "friendly" derby match today. Everton supporters are a vile bunch who became crybabies simply because they were losing to a better club. A friend of mine got assulted today outside a pub from a couple of Everton fans simple because my bud wore a Liverpool shirt. As for the match: If you blueshites are in uproar over Suarez, well then maybe you can have a word with Moyes explaining to him that trying to lunge tackle on Suarez will most likely end in a card. Rodwell got the ball, but the player needs a bit of smarts to lunge in like he did and being two feet from Atkinson. Luis Suarez: Liverpool Legend
So sad calling names like an 8 year old. To answer your question, the ref made a bad choice producing a red card. It had nothing to do with Suarez.
He said it was next to Stanley Park...not sure the name of it but there's photo of markings on his throat. Unbelievable.
