Utterly pissed off with that goal. We completely backed off from them after our goal. The pressure disappeared and we gave them a lot more space. Amateur.
For those who think Wallace's defending is an improvement on Manning's.....it was his man who scored and Wallace wasn't within 20 yards of the man who he should have been marking.
However, really encouraging performance overall. Big Bad Luke even won a few tackles. Would like to see Chair take his man on a bit more. All the threat is on our right.
What a soft goal to give away.....Where the he'll was Wallace? Hard to save as headed in to the ground....if headed straight at him he saves it....
Why isnt Lumley there to punch the ****ing thing away. He is **** and we will go nowhere with him between the sticks!
Their top scorer would have been spoken about and we give him the space to embarrass Lumley! Some strong play from us and we more than deserved to be up to nil at HT. MW looks like he will give them a mouthful. Second half to sort it out. We need more goalmouth service. Some nice play though, very encouraging.
#3 (Wallace?) should not get paid this month . they have one player in the box who he happens to be standing next to, so he watches the ball and runs to the first post and leaves him alone behind him. ****ING UNBELIEVABLE!
You're joking right? Wallace completely lost his man and Lumley let's in so many soft goals. Having said that it's nice to see a Rangers side that can keep the ball. Until their goal, the back four looked a massive upgrade on last season. However, we must play forward more. Too many players turning back towards their own goal, especially Chair who really needs to be more forward thinking. If it's the players ahead not making themselves available that needs to change. So much the better side and deservedly went ahead, only to completely switch off after scoring. Coventry can't be that poor second half.
