It had sequencial gears.. Or the option... Red digits on dash to show the gear you were in.. It was just great fun.. This was years ago BTW... Was ahead of its time for sure
The modern Hondas are just as good. Ripe for tuning to if that is what people want. The new Civic is a thing of beauty. Not keen on the Type R spoiler though.
I'm looking at it as though you can, but, the advice is not to. We've broken the rules twice today already, as we're out later on, I can see that increasing without even trying. Next week we're at a 30th, with 30 going as per old rules. The lad isn't sure if he has to cancel or not.
I don't think there is any need to moan, we're allowed to go if we want to it turns out. Just not in a group of more than 6. He'd just prefer we didn't It was clear as mud as usual but no one is getting fined for going to the bar with their mates. You might get a few internet Karen's saying you are part of the problem and other bollocks, but if that bothers you, then I don't think you should be allowed in a pub anyway for being a pussy.
I think its all fine, just the media dramatising it all again. It sounds to me like "go to the pub if you want, but we'd prefer you didn't" The missus would prefer I didn't stay out till 4am and get absolutely trollied. She's in the same boat as Boris, pissing in the wind.
I do like a Honda mind, had some great cars over the years. I feel I should have owned an R Type at some stage really. I tell you what I always hated French cars. Citreons were always angular and ugly as ****. However like everything in life there are exceptions to the rules. Step forward a Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI and Peugeot 306 2L TDI. The former was a pocket rocket, loads of fun. The latter is one of the best handling cars I ever had. I think up until my current car it was the best cornering car I ever had. It was fat wide and low. Literally on rails.
It's more about the other people that will die not the ones that'll be fine. If all the arseholes are kept on the pub that's great.
The problem may be the number of people suffering of ailments other than Covid that are losing out on care / support / money. Is another lock down to try to slow down Covid (not stop, slow down) worth the increased suicide rate and people not being seen for treatable illnesses until its too late?
Just follow the rules it's all anyone's being asked to do. All I see is people with kushy lives crying they can't have everything their own way for a few months. I hope they die if that helps further my stance.. That would be great..
From what I was told the North East hospitals were coping well with the amount of Virus casualties admitted to the hospitals so I can't fully understand the dramatic / draconian lock down We have a Nightingale Hospital in Boldon that has never been used at all (not that we want to use it mind)
Does my head in that, I only get to see me mam, dad and sisters twice a year due to work and being in Birmingham whilst they’re in Gateshead, just have to put up with it and get on with it. One of my colleagues about 20 year old at work was nearly bubbling cause he didn’t get to see his mam for two nights.
We have a couple of friends who work on the Covid ward at the QE. Quiet as it stands, but, seemingly starting to increase, and they're gearing up for a big surge. Following criticism first time around, Authorities are being premptive to head off the storm if they can. Damned either way.
They know they cant cope with Flu and Covid at the same time. Good luck to them differentiating between the two.
