Heard there might there might be a stall on Walton Street Market on Sunday morning selling the programmes that had already been printed for Saturdays game. That's if all the pitches haven't already been taken by all the Wessies coming into Hull.
No restriction on the number of people allowed to enter either. The one old biddy in a high viz jacket will be on hand to make sure social distancing is adhered too and there is a rumour that another bottle of hand sanitizer will be available.
PS. stall holders coming in from out of town can park up as per usual in West Park overnight. There will be no toilets open.

Not dissimilar to what's going on up here though it concerns schools.

2 schools in very close proximity to where I live have had teachers diagnosed with Covid, kids have been sent home and been told to get tests along with their parents, siblings, contacts(be it Grandparents etc),before they can be readmitted.

When you look at the simple arithmetic involved with that it's hardly surprising that testing has gone through the roof up here.

There are controls in place in a pub, but not in most houses.

Every time my family visited recently,my wife and I disinfected the table, chairs, downstairs toilet, taps, lavatory(her and I used the upstairs toilet),we opened the Windows and back door.

I don't see any evidence of that in my local.

The Boro game is going ahead, with over double the infection rate we have here (40.6 per 100,000), there's no consistency.

I think SAG weren't happy that they weren't consulted prior to the application being made for a pilot. Shrewsbury's pilot is going ahead, there rate is 14 per 100,000, Hull's rate is 15 per 100,000, the Boro rate is taking the urine and the surrounding areas are in lockdown. Local SAG took the easy option.

Which beggars the question and fans the conspiracy theories. Why have Hull City Council acted like this when the same rules and rigid regulations do not apply to the Sunday market on council owned land 100 yards from the KC ? If having a few hundred people social distanced and supervised inside a 25,000 all seater stadium is deemed unsafe how safe is an open market attracting stall holders and people from god knows where and no limits at all on how many turn up ?
Who did have the final say on this and what are the real reasons ?
Because I don't think it's anything at all to do with Covid 19.

But we have the added ingredient of conflict between the council and owners, this gives the council some element of retribution over the Allams !

Not only that but how does this reconcile with the numbers in enclosed spaces such as St Stephnes and the Market Hall?

I reckon it's down to the councils pure hatred of Hull City and the people of Hull.

I can't think of any other reason, can you?

Middlesbrough doesn't have the clowns we have here who whose primary motivation is to stop things rather than enable them.

There's no issue with hundreds of people wandering around a massive outdoor car park, if you're going to compare it to something, then at least go for something that could possibly be considered more contentious, like St Stephens.

It's the health department at HCC that have driven this and it's not because they've got some ulterior motive, it's just so that there can be no possibility of anything coming back on them. Basically, they took the easy option and avoided any risk at all, despite that risk being very small.
