Money talks unfortunately and if spurs offer big money (which we know they won’t) anyone is for sale.
I can't see that Spurs will be able to spend the money it would take to get Ings when he's only going to be a backup striker. So is it genuine interest, or is it mind games ahead of Sunday?
I don't normally believe a word Alex "Hojbjerg to Everton done deal" Crook says but on this occasion I have no choice but to assume this 100% accurate and that the case is closed.
We're not selling Ings unless an unbelievable offer comes in (over 60 mill). The outrage from the fans would be huge. I can't see anyone paying that much for Ings and he's happy here so he won't try and force through a transfer.
Wonder if we’ll go for a winger as well as a CM. Not wanting to block Tella’s path into the team but he’ll need time to get to the standards we need. We look light on wingers if anyone gets injured, like Armstrong is showing us now. Brooks is potentially available but maybe too pricey. Brewster or Ryan Sessengon on loan perhaps. Sess could also provide a bit of LB cover. He may be available with Spurs signing Reguilon and Bale. Maybe United would loan Dan James if they got the winger they’re after. Could be some good loan options out there.
Just pointing out who Spurs are playing this weekend. Will rumours about Ings to Spurs go quiet after Sunday?
If Utd fans I know are anything to go by he won’t be at United long, they all hate him. I haven’t seen enough of him to really judge. Asked my friend about Ings, he said hasn’t heard anything but he does know that Saints won’t offer him the wage he wants
These so called ITKs make me laugh, as if Danny is going to be blabbing about private contract negotiations to all and sundry...
Meh I get your point but I see no reason why my friend would make this up. The guy he knows definitely knows Ings as he showed me multiple pics of them together. The news isn’t exactly ground breaking either, there has been talk of us being in contract talks with Ings for a while now so it seems pretty logical to make the connection that he hasn’t signed because we aren’t offering enough
No chance Ings will go this Summer but if no new contract signed in the next few months then I expect he will next.
