    I agree with everything you've said about James. He was a talent and undoubtedly a very good player who will have some great games but I think his best days are behind him. Even Everton fans are divided on him.

    He may have an Indian summer, similar to sturridge, just have that one season where everything clicks, he stays fit for the majority.

    If that happens then he's a fantastic signing, but its a bloody big if. Otherwise he will be a bit part player, making cameos.

    We've had plenty like it, keita last season was a prime example, injured, returning from injury, played a blinder ,injured again.

    I agree.

    For me, if you've signed a player, any player who only played 8 games the previous season, it's a big risk. Who was that Italian player we signed while he was still on crutches? <laugh>

    He only played 8 games as he was largely frozen out by Zidane, the number of games he was actually unavailable for was around a dozen. His situation there was similar to that of Bale.
