I've been thinking that. If I were a team sitting back, the number 10 I wouldn't want to face is Ndombele. He has guile, ideas, accurate passing and shooting, and can win the ball.

It's alright, it's on Premier Sports. We won't be able to see it anyway.

It's not as mad as it sounds, either, as there were times at Lyon where he'd play as a 10 with Tousart and Aouar behind him

It also reminds me of the first period of the Dembelessance, where Poch used him as a 10 against and he was bullying the opponent defence high up the pitch as the tip of midfield

I’m surprised you noticed. I was drawn to the beautiful graffiti and the random horse standing in the car park!

I bet our players can't wait to get out there next Thursday. Just the two games to go before then, of course.

Hope that goal triggers of something positive in Tanguy’s head

so much for the team depends on him playing his best in the grand scheme of things

2 goals conceded this season...both set pieces. Was happening often last season too.

does anyone seriously think Jose Mourinho has not noticed this and worked on it time and time again with this lot? Me neither.

We need a commanding CB in the summer...that has to be the next stage...can’t see it happening this window and January is hit and miss

Although not a huge name, I think Kim will be in before the window shuts. Can’t be any worse than any of the CBs so far too. Hopefully Tanganga gets fit soon as well, starting to actually think he may even be our best CB at the club right now, which is tragic really when he’s only played about 10 games for the first team.

We desperately need to work on our set pieces though, defensively as well as offensively, however ideally Bale should sort the latter out.

I think last season we were among the teams with fewest set piece goals conceded. It came up as a stat during one of our televised games after the break and I remember being surprised..
More worrying is we haven't yet scored a goal against a team with 11 players on the pitch, yet we have an offensive team.

I think we can count the first one yesterday. Firstly it looked over the line and secondly the sending offs had no bearing on the penalty success.
