One thing I've seen suggested elsewhere: rather than play Ndombele as our 8 and Lo Celso as our 10, why not play them the other way 'round? Lo Celso has shown he has the fight to play in a more central role, and Ndombele has the passing and finishing to be an effective False 10...right?
I was wondering that, but I've browsed around and apparently the ref initially red carded the wrong player! The 2nd one was sent off for trying to **** up the penalty spot, according to Mourinho. Good. Twat.
Northeastern Romania or Northwestern North Macedonia? Not sure there's much of a difference there, to be honest.
The one small plus from today’s game is that - despite still lacking that exact sharpness - a Lo Celso, Ndombele and Hojbjerg midfield three is the best bet in terms of fluidity and balance in the middle of the park. Hojbjerg does need to improve on the defensive side though if he’s to get near Wanyama/ Parker level. So I guess we’ll look forward to Winks and Sissoko on Sunday
probably best not to google earth the stadium and enter street view mode then. Yeah... definitely don’t do that.
Jose will unleash Hojbjerg who will charge around the park on Sunday kicking all and sundry up in the air and get sent off
