This. Need Donald out of the club as quickly as possible

 

I'd love to know what he actually does! I'd imagine it's very rare for someone not on the board of a company to be intimately involved in a takeover. Normally the board members would be under an NDA and would be very limited in who they could involve in it.

 

He's never told me but he's on stid season 2 with methven, I'd summise he's a mate as much as anything but he runs supporters meetings which methven and Donald have attended.

You see that's kind of what I thought. I remember he was organising a supporters meeting that was on STID2, and knew that he knew Methven, might even be friends with him. But none of that means he's in a position whereby he'd have any value to a takeover process, any reason to be "as good as on the board" or any reason why someone should be breaking NDAs to keep him bang up to date on it every two days. Fair enough if that's the case but I go back to my point about it being amateur as ****, especially if you know the bloke is a gobshite who can't go two minutes without posting cryptically about it on a message board! Different if he was a mate who was also a corporate lawyer or something! It just doesn't make any sense. Again, not denying he's being told stuff, it's just amateur as hell. I mean, how long can Methven even have known him for? Doubt he knew him before he came here, now all of a sudden he's leaking him all sorts every few days? I've heard suggestions that he's being used by someone, and that would seem to tie in with this tbh

 

It's what anyone could be though isn't it, if we knew someone at the club and took what someone said at face value how would we know if we weren't being set up, even nick Barnes won't be able to confirm for sure unless he goes to the meetings himself and see's it with his own eyes.

I mean even then technically if someone was really bothered how hard is it to have pretend meeting and talk about a takeover, that's obviously not happening but I am expecting someone to suggest Donald is using some Putin levels of misinformation to take the heat off himself.

 

I think its fairly obvious the club reads the message boards. So they are either using Bob as a stooge to get the message out or he is betraying their confidence without them spotting it

He posts when he's allowed to which would tie in with what you're saying I just can't imagine if be doing much different to him, if a club owner gave me information and agreed I could pass it on I would do it.

I actually emailed sky earlier, had to point out to them, that they'd not got Northumberland on their breaking news header, fcuking huge county.

 

At least we will be crowning someone as the winner of the "2020 'actual' itk" award. The camps have moved to opposite ends of the field so the result will make or break some on here/RTG.

My missus is from Leicester and we spent our early married years there. They use the word Bob for "****", as in "quick the bairn needs a Bob". True story and possibly appropriate

Can I just ask a question. Who actually is Bob?

I don't mean a gadgie who posts cryptic ITK stuff on RTG. I mean who is he in the real world? Whats his job etc?

I'm trying work out why he is apparently so involved in the club. If he's as thick as some claim its extremely worrying that he's effectively representing the fan base.
