Bob will hedge his bets, claim every position you can think of is happening, then say he was right all along while him and his cronies ignore the bits where he was wrong. He comes across as being incredibly desperate to be belived by complete strangers on a message board and I find that completely embarrassing. I prefer how the likes of you and prehab and smug do it. Here's what I've heard, there you go. Much easier.
I think Bob does hear things, but he certainly tries to ignore the bits he's got badly wrong (like the paying back of the loan) and talks with far too much certainty when there's no way he knows everything that goes on. Also think it's a sure sign of an attention seeker when they flounce off the board with a "delete my account" type comment only to, regular as clockwork, be back on a few weeks later.

But it's the certainty he says everything with! "There's no takeover, we need to move on" even though a little over a week ago he was saying it was a full takeover. If he knows things can change week to week then I don't see how he can talk with such certainty. Surely it's more accurate to say "investment has been mooted, and at one point it looked like changing to a full takeover. At the minute investment is about as good as we can hope for but it could easily change again". Because it could. It sounds like someone is playing hardball (to use a term I hate) but no one other than Donald and the potential buyer will know at what point they call the other persons bluff, or agree to compromise , or walk away. Not Rodwell, not Fox and certainly not Madbob!

Mind, if true, I'm a bit worried that someone in the middle of key negotiations that could affect the entire future of our club is stopping to update "madbob" every couple of days. I get that he might know people at the club but he's not on the board, it's incredibly amateur if anyone is regularly keeping some bloke up to date with the ins and outs of something this commercially sensitive. We need all of this lot out the door.
