Has anyone managed to preorder one? I have tried to get one (being a Fifa addict) but it looks like Sony might be playing 'stock trickle' games to increase demand.
They can only make so many at a time I guess and they'll be expensive to make, usually more expensive when they come out than they are being sold for (previous gens were). If you didn't get on the pre-order bloody quickly it'll be unlikely you can get on it now as the retailers will only be able to guarantee so many to buyers
I’ve always been an Xbox man, and the decision is tough for me on this. Xbox far more powerful, PS looks more for pure gaming which is all I do. The Xbox games pass included might swing it. To answer your question I tried to look at pre order and couldn’t get one of either. I only really play FIFA and COD so exclusives matter little.
Bought a PS4 to get me through lockdown in Melbourne. Can't believe the inconsistency in the quality of games. I've played a couple which were just ****ing masterpieces but I've bought a few that I've deleted five minutes after their nine hour download finishes.
If you haven't tried 'Far Cry 4', 'Horizon Zero Dawn', 'Last of Us' or 'Days Gone' then I highly recommend those Disco
Both pretty much of a muchness which console you go for in terms of gaming from my perspective. I suppose it comes down to how much digital content you have bought into and that's why I want PS5 as it has a legacy mode apparently to still play your PS4 stuff I originally had Xbox and thought it was a cracking bit of kit until I got stung with the red ring of death debacle which caused me to jump ship.
Aye see I’ve a load the other way. I actually started PS but I can’t remember there was one point when Xbox latest gen was out quicker and I switched. Im still undecided like.
I don't think there's a lot in the power difference between the two, seems to be like two cars one with a bit more horsepower but the other is lighter and in reality they get the same lap times. But naturally the one with more horsepower will use it as a selling point. I don't like the look of the PS5 it looks like an ice cream sandwich but I've never liked the Xbox controller and PS has the better exclusives imo so I'll be getting one sooner or later, not much going on at launch to justify day one purchase for me.
I went from xbox to ps3 because. You had to buy batteries for Xbox controller, ps3 rechargeable. You had to buy seperate WiFi dongle for Xbox, ps3 built in. You had to pay for online on xbox, ps3 was free. Ps3 was a blue ray player, Xbox wasn't. I kept getting banned off Xbox live after fooking paying for it, i didn't get banned off ps3. Xbox ring of death. Probably forgot other reasons Anyway i wait until the console has been out a year or two before buying, that way the price has dropped and there's a bigger choice of games. Although i feel I'm getting too old now, its annoying when your squinting at the screen and your glasses fall off then some snotty nosed kid blows your fooking head off with an ak47 after the little twàts been jumping round the screen like a chimpanzee on acid.
Aye the 360 was a disaster v PS3, personally never had any issues but **** me they were common! I prefer the size of Xbox pads but looks like they are similar on both now. I want one day one most folk I know are on PS it’s weighing up if the backwards compatible games etc are a concern or not. The PS looks bastard though would need putting behind something.
The old ps3/2/1 pads were too small, designed for kids hands, I bought some clip over silicon covers that made them much better and more akin to xbox. Xbox ones ones were patented. The new ones are much better on ps4 imo.
Be good to have a try before I decide but without Toys R Us etc probs not plausible. Microsoft are doing £28 month interest free with £20 games pass free for 2 years. Now I don’t need finance but I’d like 2 years free so might take it to get that then just pay off console. Bird was saying I’m too old for consoles, I said ‘you literally sit watching made up folk on a made up street’. Ha.
Aye wonder when they will have one in, literally it could be as simple as the feel of the pad that swings it.
Can anyone recommend the xbox s one as thinking of getting it for my lad this Christmas. It's the one year I have some decent funds in (redundancy pay ).
