Genuine question. We all want to love this club. Whilst the finances are against the allams finding a 'white horse' buyer in its current state, what would it take for the fans, the press, players, Coaches, physios, sponsors, stewards, raiki instructors and herbalists etc associated to pull everyone together like the spirit of 04/05? Is it even possible now given the piss taking-for-granted we as paying fans have been subject to? Can the necessary solidarity seen in previous years happen under the current regime? There's good and bad in the current ownership. The best times and the worst so let's hear you. Can they ever stem the tide at all? If there's a realistic realistic possibility they can, what would it take for you?

I could say 46 games or whatever... However Mc started last season well, so the games in, 1 loss 2 wins... bit early to to tell, nice to have the attacking football, playing for the manager team or contract... Let's see how it goes So 46? games (+cups) - as much the style, ability of the team formation to adapt.

I know others disagree, but in my opinion, they have not overseen the best times. The best times were under previous regimes (basically the 2000's). Times we only ever dreamed of in our wildest dreams during the bleak 70's, 80's, 90's. Back to the question. There is absolutely no way there can be a 'pulling together' that includes the Allams, unless they totally changed character and publicly apologised for all the wrongs they have done towards supporters and made amends to all that they have 'abused' (can't think of a different word) - even then I'd understandably expect that would not be enough for many. So, I guess the only way is in the sense of the old saying of 'back the team, not the regime'. Is that possible? If you had asked a couple of weeks ago, I'd have given a resounding 'no'. But now having seen the recent games, maybe. There has been so much to be positive about, including now some players that we can 'connect' with so to speak. Unfortunately the character and approach (to engaging) of McCann doesn't help; it would have been easier to achieve perhaps with say Nige. Personally I'd love it if there was a pulling together of everyone, rekindling the spirit of the 2000's, in a 'back the team, not the regime' sort of way.
I wouldnt say I'm pro-Allam but I do think that they can get us out of League One. Maybe they could get their money back if they sold at the end of a promotion season. I dont think many clubs expect to make profits nowadays. The best they can do is to sell a club for more than they have spent on it. We need an owner who would invest to get us back into the Premier League.
Unfortunately, what the Allam's would need to do is totally beyond their understanding. They fail to fundamentally grasp what is needed to run a football club in a way that would have fans on their side.
Could it be.... in terms of finding a new owner that the club in winning form and perhaps on top by say Christmas becomes a more attractive proposition based on 'they want to sell'.... OR.... does the promise of a return to the championship (a long long way off) mean that 'they' will wan to stay and cash in on the very players that 'might' get us there.
The owners to leave. I’m sick and tired of their ****ish tricks. McCann, should have kept that team up last season. It was the manner of the capitulation which was alarming. No plan b. It’s a long old season, a couple of results hasn’t changed anything yet. 15-20 games will be a far better barometer of how the season is likely to go.
Last season the sale of Grosicki and Bowen backfired. As did bringing in Scott who got injured and that joker from Peterborough that was just gash.
This would require them to actually be realistic about the money they've expended. They appear to be pretty much in profit, if you allow for the debt as interest free lending compared to the rate they've charged. Do we really want to get to the PL again? It all went to **** when we did that. What I really want is the mixed age fanbase, passion and involvement we had before 2008.
I’d be happy with a united fan base and a full stadium again, so all the cluster **** decisions that the Allams have made need unraveling. I’m not hugely fussed about the league we are in, some of my fondest City memories are probably outside of the PL years anyway.
