Well you should be drinking water and not alcohol, because you are probably dehydrated for starters, and smoking after coughing up black stuff would be a big no, no. I would probably avoid medication, because you don't know if the valium was valium and what it's done to your stomach.

@Libby this sounds just like when i had an intestinal blockage i.e suddenly throwing up black bile then couldn't eat If your stomach is getting hard that will be 3 out of 3 . I know this is a bit late but seriously if straight enough you need to ring 111 & see what they say . PS all they do is shove a tube down your nose and drain it out and you sit watching till it changes colour
