The reports also say that the major point of discussion for Bale is the wages. Madrid want whoever loans him to pay 100%, we apparently won’t budge above 50%. This could get messy.
I imagine it’s getting a balance between paying a loan fee and the wages, Real might want more of a saving over time with the wages whereas we might be willing to do more up front, regardless of the length of the loan. Also Anyone know who the other six staying home are?
Bale will not take a pay cut as he wants Madrid to cough up after the way they treated him. We can't pay his wages and Madrid are arrogant twats who expect to get everything they want. Bale will not be a spurs players due to these 3 things.
I fear it could be a big stumbling block. It all hinges on how much Bale wants to play and how much Real want his wage, or at least a healthy portion of it, off their books.
If Madrid can't use him, then their choices are either pay 100% of his wages or pay less than that. Not much of a choice.
Thats our bargaining chip. As long as Bale holds out to only come to us then it’ll have to work. If he blinks first and says he’s open to going to a club that can afford to pay more or all of his wages on loan then we’re scuppered.
