Its amazing how many people struggle with the fact the loan came from the American company over on RTG. The explanation should be made a sticky. It must of been discussed a thousand times and people still aint got a clue

Wouldn't say I struggle with it - I joined 4 weeks ago and hadn't seen it discussed.

That's because it doesn't fit the narrative. Gotta have something to bed wet about marra :emoticon-0105-wink:

  5. I think that was mainly because no one could really understand the purpose of it and what it meant?

I see the non story of FPP being dissolved on companies house has caused a stir. All the told you so’s coming out when it was reported 6 months ago before any takeover talk.

I look back to the days when a top flight club could be owned and run by a couple of local businessmen not the ultra rich. I can’t help but think money has ruined the game and we fans are almost commodities to be traded.

We can't be traded but we are less important than we have ever been, global audiences who have no interest in England or its footballing pyramid just want to see man United emvs Liverpool every week is what's ruined the game. It's not anyone's fault in particular but it's reflective of us all, we can't be arsed to go to the shops so we buy from Amazon, cheating ourselves out of tax revenue and making a single man richer than anyone ever needs to be.

True, however I have refused to use Amazon, my wife bought me some shoes from their two years ago and they are still in the box . She has not done it again, she knows I am a stubborn bugger and will stick to a point of principle. I know there will be others just as bad I either don’t know about or can not find an alternative to but I try to keep to my principles. Also helps that I earn enough to be able to do that as well.

I wish we could get some actual confirmation its at the EFL. Not doubting @Magnus and greatly appreciate his snippets but actual confirmation would have everyone feeling alot better

Amazon or a similar organisation are now going forward to be a way of life. More will be bought off the Internet. Personally I do not use Amazon that much but yes to John Lewis and 2 or 3 mens clothing firms.

Despite international political problems, Amazon, Hotmail, Apple etc all need to pay more tax.. atm there us far too much tax avoidance/evasion

I thought Magnus was suggesting the meetings were being held at EFL HQ, not that it was actually with them, but the main protagonists were just holding meetings there
