On the Newcastle board we have elections every year. All interested parties register and then canvass the various posters. We then have a poll where each poster has 4 votes and the 4 candidates topping the poll are then elected for the following year.

Unfortunately you are banned from that thread.

 

Sounds like a fair system. One where mods are less inclined to **** about with others for laughs as the power isn't permanent.

 

Mate - that was tongue in cheek. @Albert's Chip Shop paid a bung to @brb a few years ago to license our board's moderation rights and he appointed the rest of us just to make it look more kosher. It's a true dictatorship!
