Nah this is a risk worth taking. Bale will give the other players a boost just by walking into training. If Spurs get Bale and Reguilon then fair play to Levy & Jose (one and only time I’ll praise both )

Serious question - what is Bale wages at RM and would Spurs pay 50% of this. papers say he is on £500k* a week and I can’t see Spurs paying him £250k *or has there been a more accurate figure that is lower
It's actually £600k I believe, so we'd be needing to pay around £300k unless Madrid subsidise it even more. About time they showed how much they appreciated that "special partnership" both clubs once claimed to have.

Yeah that's definitely a way to look at it. All of the media and decent journalists seem to believe there's real intent on from us (and Madrid) to make it happen so I'm hoping the wages and any potential loan fee can be sorted. Agreeing to the terms of the Reguilon deal too may also ease negotiations for Bale.
