The Liverpool and possibly even Manchester United games are just coming too early for them, if they'd had a nice 5 or so games to ease them in they could have been a force but there'll be too many dropped points this season overall. Destined for 3rd it seems, but with everyone fit and another season under their belt it's easy to envisage them being up for a title push next year, i reckon that's probably what they're building for in reality. Some very very good young players.
We were said to be in for him and I think he is a real talent when fully fit... but the worry was always going to be his fragility... remember us signing Lawrie Cunningham back in the 80s ... fabulous talent but couldn't seem to play more than 2 games in a row without picking up an injury that would then see him out for the next 4 or 5 ... real shame when you have a player like that ...
Pulisic to add to that Chelsea side. Could go gung ho like a 90’s Newcastle and try to win each game 4-3 and fall short. or like recent city sides and Boss it. Early games against the too six will be interesting, lots of sides will go defensive against them.
I went to Burton's Pirelli Stadium in 2013, final game of the season when we won L2. We (Gills) fielded a number of substituted youngsters late on, as the game was of no further significance for us. It was the first and only appearance of Mahlon Romeo as he was one of the youngsters that came on as sub for the Gills. As he eventually signed for Millwall, and i think he is still with them as a regular starter.
You have absolutely no concept of what a football match actually is Or of what a match day experience really means You are an empty shell that never contained a yolk I really do pity you
