If it’s Bas Dost or nobody then 100% If it’s Bas Dost because he’s cheap and leaves money over for another then yeah If it’s just Bas Dost and that’s it then I’d be underwhelmed.
I'd honestly take him quite happily, as I would Belotti, I think there's pros and cons to both. Pros: Dost - cheaper so allows for dough in other areas, more experienced, proven himself at different clubs and in different countries. Belotti - younger so has more longevity, one of Serie A's best strikers, captain of Torino so hopefully brings further leadership. Cons: Dost - older, won't provide any longevity. Belotti - only proven in Serie A and plays in a side that caters directly for him.
WTF? This came out of left field here. Unfortunately, this would be a fantastic signing for you guys IMO. Just strange because I saw earlier United were in advanced talks with him, but it seems you guys are faves to sign him now.
Great if we can get it done - I wonder if this anything to do with the Bale deal, Real want a buyback clause and maybe we are playing ball to help smooth the 2nd deal.
If we sign a those two from Real Madrid I will not be a miserable git for the rest of 2020...on here that is! Those feckers sign our players after tapping them up for 2 years... Utter bastards
If Levy needs to hire me to kiss some arse - literally - in order to get those two through the door, I'm prepared to make that sacrifice for this football club.
Bale, Belotti and Reguilon been linked today. Reminding me of that day last year when it was Bruno, Dybala and Coutinho
Actually it isn't, as Regullon has been heavily linked with us for 2-3 weeks now, but I didn't bother posting it here because I assumed it was either a.) Going to see Regullon sign a bumper contract with Los Ladrones (like Isco does, consistently) b.) Going to have some buyback clause tacked onto it, which Levy tends to steer well clear of c.) General clickbait bullshit Anyway... Kim Min-jae Watch SPOTV News report that Beijing Guon have accepted a bid of €13m + add-ons from Lazio, but KMJ is waiting for us to match this offer It's worth noting that Guon have signed a replacement, Bosnian international Tony Sunic (formerly of Dynamo Moscow), so now is pouncing time
Fabrizio Romano now saying that we’ve got the agreement with Real (including the buy back clause and them having a first refusal to match any future offer we receive from a different club) but United have an agreement with the player, not the club. So it’s basically down to Levy and co to convince the player to join.
He’ll leave that to Jose. One thing I said that would be major for us by having Jose is his pull. Kristof Terreur already said he phoned Reguilon the other week, Jose don’t give a **** about the legal ****, he’ll just straight bell you and tell you the situation
I hope that’s true, because it’ll put paid to the idea that Reguilón is a club signing not a Mourinho one. Playing with two attacking FBs rather than one would also make us less predictable in terms of how we set up, which is good.
Some reports now that Dele could be going the other way as part of the Bale deal - that would suggest a permanent move and not a loan and if needed I can drive him to Madrid.
Let me put it this way if we got Bas Dost on the cheap, Reguilón, and Bale on a loan on top of the players we’ve already got then I think we’ll have had an exceptional window. Jose’s targets, a mix of experience into the squad, and a sprinkling of potential stardust in Bale coming home. Where are you seeing that?
Man Utd fans are acting like stroppy little ****s about it already ...oh wait, that's just how they are
