The media seem to love it when the promoted sides buck the odds and stay up. Seem to favour Leeds this year as other two are turning into perennial yo-yo teams. Can see Leeds flattering to deceive in first couple of months and then being right down in relegation battle after that and it going pear-shaped as owners sack manager.
I don't know how big Leeds squad is but playing that high intensity style they played against Liverpool isn't easy to keep up over a season

Yes every club does and this season like the back end of last it's going to murder the smaller clubs. I just personally see more value in the clubs long term security than having a cup run.. A cup run means nothing
