Dear Richard,

Re: Response to my previous letter re NUFC Takeover attempt As you are aware I wrote to you on 5th August to share the concerns of my Constituents who are Newcastle United Fans about the role in the Recent takeover attempt at the club.

As a result I was forwarded a copy of a letter by your PA that you had written to my Parliamentary Colleague Chi Onwurah. I responded to point out that this did not address the issues that I had raised in my letter and requested the courtesy of a personal response.

I am still awaiting your reply.

I can completely understand why the fans of Newcastle United Football Club feel that you are treating them with contempt.

Would you please reply to my letter as soon as possible so that I can update my constituents.

Dear Hung, Drawn & Quartered

As you are aware I have previously written to Richard Masters the Premier League Chief Executive to ask him to explain the behaviour of the Premier League throughout the recent attempted takeover of NUFC. Instead of a reply to my queries I was sent a reply to a letter from a neighbouring MP which you can see here.

I have therefore written again asking for a personal reply asking why other teams in the League have not been treated the same as NUFC in relation to their ownership. We need a fair and level playing field.

The writing was on the wall early when he first came out with 'there's no time frame'..

 

Aye running scared because he thinks Liverpool have the monopoly in buying the league.

 

Of course there isn't a time frame. If PIF don't answer the questions the PL asks then they don't just get waved through after some time limit expires.

Since Everton got billionaire owners Henderson has lifted the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup, and Premier League trophies. That's my idea.
