    6 months in to the pandemic (lol) and finally I know someone who has the bug. He says it’s like a bad cold.

    Hmmm, deaths and hospital admissions way down, so the focus is on positive tests despite the known flaws, and seems to ignore the increase in the number of people tested.

    Recent national problems finding test kits and getting test centre appointments, just as we see a tightening of controls.

    Surely it can't be that these things happen to show the tightening 'worked'?

    The more recent measures seem to be more aimed at pushing people back in to pubs, as many had found a good life socialising at home.
