This won’t get to court, there’s either a very good case or a very weak case and in both eventualities, the other party will submit. Like I said last week, I think Ashley believes that PL have backed themselves into a corner or made some sort of mistake so it could be a very public drubbing for the PL. expect this one to get settled swiftly.

There’s no way in hell that PIF comes back to the table for this with a flimsy case. I think among all the laughing about corruption etc and BeIn influence there could be something in it. Or they could just be looking to see if there is a case.
Agreed - not sure Ashley would bother if they had categorically said no to the deal as he has a £17m non refundable deposit so you'd assume he'd just pocket that and move on to the next one if they weren't still there. The fact the lawyer in question has worked with KSA and the prince would also intimate they are still there.
