eer 2013? In what context? All you remainers are doing is grabbing a few old lines that suit your agenda. How about posting his articles way before 2013 where he discusses leaving the EU?
It's like someone saying that the Chinese 5g will stay and then it doesn't... Who should we believe?

I posted an article with various anti-EU quotes of his going back decades and you wrote it off because it’s one of the few sources that dares to question if the Brexit that the government’s own forecasts predict will be a disaster might not be the best thing ever.

Who are the people who write these things? Normally people who have a beef with Boris or the government. For me the biggest U-turner is Starmer. What are your thoughts on his Brexit stance? I that okay for you and the rest of the remain camp?

Unless they’re fake quotes, what difference does the source make?

I can’t speak for the entire camp. It’s a big camp.

Personally yes I’m fine with it. His only chance of getting into power at the next election whenever that is is to distance himself from Brexit because the voters he needs to win over won’t accept their house is a flood risk until they’re bollocks deep in water in their living rooms and scream that anyone telling them to buy sandbags are the real problem for not believing in the house enough.

So what do you do if you’re him?

Ellers, come on mate. Your silly little quips and pathetic nicknames add absolutely nothing to the debate and just make you look really silly.
One or two little digs are fine but it seems every single post of yours now is just plain insulting or derogatory.......Slag off the opposition by all means....big up the government of course...but at the moment you’re just making yourself look a bit of a twat.

From February of this year. Eerily accurate when you read Cox's Times article, Braverman's new 'advice' and the IM Bill.

I guess we should have seen it coming when Johnson repeatedly lied about the provisions of the NI Protocol throughout the election.

Says the fella who knew nothing about Brexit and couldn't understand it now thinks he is some sort of EU expert. You should stick to to your testing posts Bob because you seriously know very little.

Fair enough mate. However if you look back at your posts you might think differently.
I know you go out to get a rise out of people but as I say, it just makes you look silly.

Sorry about that I had to walk the dog.
Sadly you miss the point Watford. Starmer is an opportunist who doesn't have the morals to stick to his beliefs. You all bleat on about Boris but this guy is worse?
Dragging up something from 2013 is not exactly current to events in 2016 or 2020 is it? Bloody hell in 2013 I was probably a remainer as I didn't know the full facts. Now for example... you show me one piece of information from 2016 onwards where Boris come across as a remainer or wants a single market/second refferendum? You won't find it. only a few months ago Starmer wanted that second referendum and wanted Brexit reversed... Now he is a leaver? There is a big difference here and you know. Like a few of you on here, you hate everything government/Tory/Boris/Brexit and will never admit when you are wrong. At least I can say they have made a mistake or that was wrong.
Starmer should be challenging Boris now (if he has any backbone) instead of flooding the airwaves with his losers like Milibland and co.

I really don’t know how you conclude that Starmer is in any way an opportunist and even if he is, that he is somehow more of an opportunist than Johnson who has re-invented himself countless times to climb the ladder.

Brexit is totally illogical. Literally no good can realistically come from it when you take the emotion out of it. Johnson is desperate to drag Starmer and Labour into a culture war to pit them as the enemy of Brexit to stoke that emotion (Brexit and this Tory party need to constantly manufacture enemies) and he simply won’t allow him to do that.

The government has a huge majority and hundreds of MPs purely there as yes men specifically for Brexit. Nothing Starmer does or says can affect that so as much as you might wish to bleat about Starmer or random Labour/SNP/Lib politicians, they’re effectively powerless and if Brexit doesn’t deliver us all a glorious future with the streets paved in gold that’s on your party.

I will agree that obviously the government want to drag Labour into this debate regarding the Brexit stance... However where is the opposition leader at such an important time? No excuses Watford he has gone missing because he is avoiding the debate. I want a strong opposition not some ’pleaser’ who just wants power.. He makes Jezza look honest

I’ll ask again then, what do you do in his situation in the context the government is absolutely floundering and begging you to take some of the heat off them?

He could come out and vociferously back Johnson and in the process obviously be lying because he’s not a brainwashed mug and drag Labour down with the Tories long term, alienate just about all his current support but on the flip side maybe attract a few of Johnson’s cultists. Probably not many.

Or he could come out and say Johnson is a stupid fat **** who signed a document he hadn’t read and is now trying to break the law to get around it. The truth, the view of just about anyone who knows far more about this than you or I but it further upsets Graham and Colin in Walsall who don’t really have a clue about anything at all but are needed to get Labour in at some point.

Johnson is really doing his job for him. See also Trump doing his best to get himself unelected.
